Knox Softball Seniors Recognized

On Oct. 1, Knox County softball recognized two seniors for the annual senior night. These seniors included Arysta Snyder and Grace O’Neal.
Arysta Snyder is the daughter of Jason and Amanda Snyder. She is involved in Band, FBLA, Softball, NHS, Drama Club, Spanish Club, and Art Club. Snyder plans to attend college at Park University, but she is undecided about what she is majoring in.
Grace O’Neal is the daughter of Richard O’Neal and Kelli Pinson. She is involved in Drama Club, NHS, Art Club president, Spanish Club, softball manager, Eagle Nation News, and Yearbook. O’Neal plans to attend college and major in journalism or communication studies.
The senior night game was a success. The Lady Eagles earned their ninth win for the season against the South Shelby Cardinals. Both teams played a tough game with the Eagles jumping out with a 4 run lead. The Cardinals closed the gap in the 6th inning followed with back and forth scoring. The Eagles came out on top with a final score of 8 to 7.
