Senior Night is Celebrated During the Last Home Game of the Season

Senior Night

On Saturday, October 19 Knox County seniors were recognized before the football game against the Highland Cougars. 

Football players being recognized included Keagan Hamlin who was escorted by his parents Josh and Laine Lay, and Jeff and Scherry Hamlin. Keagan is active in football, track, and Spanish Club. His future plans are to attend college at UCM.  

Trent Klocke was escorted by his parents Jeff and Tara Klocke. He is active in basketball, baseball, football, FFA and Spanish Club. His future plans are to attend college. 

Noah Hall was escorted by his parents Angela Strange and Russell Hall. His activities include football, track, baseball, Drama Club, Spanish Club and he serves as class President His future plans are to get a Bachelor’s degree in social studies and teach at a high school. 

Robert Mauck was escorted by his parents Robbie and Sherri Mauck. He is active in football, basketball, track, Eagle Nation News and Spanish Club. His future plans are to attend Northwest State University and get a degree in physical education. 

Calvin McCarty was escorted by his parents Leon and Mary McCarty. He is active in football and his future plans are to finish high school and begin welding. 

Tyler Snelling was escorted by his parents Jeff and Stephanie Snelling. He is active in football. His future plans are to graduate and go to college. 

Bradey Walton was escorted by his parents Lil and Randy Walton. He is active in football, track, FCA and Spanish Club. His future plans are to attend college. 

Jaiden Linebaugh was recognized as the football manager. Her parents are Jonnie and Brian Primm and Steve Linebaugh. She is active in senior class Vice-President, NHS President, football manager, basketball, dance, track, Spanish Club, FFA, and Eagle News editor. Her future plans are to attend Northwest Missouri State University and continue her track career. 


Knox County High School senior band members were recognized as well. 

Jazlynn Holman was escorted by her parents Joseph and Krista Holman. She is active in NHS, band, Spanish Club, football and basketball cheer and SWAT. Her future plans are to attend nursing school.

Arysta Snyder was escorted by her parents Jason and Amanda Snyder. Her activities include band, FBLA, softball, NHS, Drama Club and Spanish Club. Her future plans are to go to Park University. 

Cadie Violette is the daughter of Jason and Cindy Violette. She is involved in FFA, Student Council, band, NHS and Spanish Club. She is also the FFA and Student Council President and the Spanish Club advertiser. Her future plans are to attend college and study agricultural education. 

Harley Powers was escorted by her parents Joe and Tara Powers. Her school activities include Art Club and Spanish Club treasurer and secretary. Her future plans are undecided. 

Zachary Winter was escorted by his parents Rick Winter and Scherry Hamlin. His activities include band, Campus Bowl and Upward Bound. His future plans are to attend college to study music.

Senior members of the Trap team were also recognized. 

Jared Peavler was escorted by his parents Mark and Michelle Peavler. His activities include trapshooting and FFA.  His future plans are undecided at this time. 

Andrew Howe was escorted by his grandparents Don and Debbie Howe. His activities are FFA and trapshooting. His future plans are to become a welder and continuing bull riding.
