Hailey Mae Shoemaker is a member of the 2025 graduating class. She is the daughter of Tasha McKim of Edina. Throughout high school, Hailey was involved in choir. Her favorite teacher is the Band and Choir teacher, Miss Lisa Blake. “She was always so caring and helped me learn more about singing,” she said. Her favorite memory from high school is attending After Prom her freshman year.
In Hailey’s life, the person she looks up to the most is the Lord. “He has guided me through tough times and taught me better morals.” Her top three bucket list adventures include traveling to Germany, skydiving and hiking in the Grand Canyon. Hailey enjoys hiking in her free time because she “enjoys nature.” When asked where she would go if she could travel anywhere, she stated, “I’d go to Yellowstone National Park because I want to see the mountains.”
Following high school, Hailey’s future plans are to attend college for criminal justice and psychology, where she hopes to work towards becoming a detective.
