Seniors Recognized

On August 28th, 2020, Knox County seniors were recognized before the game against the Sweet Springs Greyhounds. 

The football seniors that were recognized were Matthew Carlson, Conner Hayes, Colten McCarty, Floyd Miller, Coltin Morrow, and Elliot Ogden. 

Matthew Carlson was escorted by Randy and Kelley Carlson. His future plans are to go into the medical field.

Conner Hayes is the son of Kelly and Lacy Hayes. His future plans are to go to college and become a teacher.

Colten McCarty is the son of John and Lisa McCarty. His future plans are to attend a 4 year apprentice program with the Union Iron Workers Local 577.

Floyd Miller is the son of Jeremy and Stephanie Potts. His future plans are to go to college.

Coltin Morrow is the son of Jeff and Diane Morrow. His future plans are to go to college.

Elliot Ogden is the son of Elizabeth and the late Jason Ogden. His future plans are to go to college.

The cheerleading seniors that were recognized were Trysta Parton, and Lani Watts.

Trysta Parton is the daughter of Jake and Ashley Whiles and Chance Rimer. Her future plans are to major in art or criminal justice.

Lani Watts is the daughter of John and Amy Watts. Her future plans are to attend Kirksville Area Technical Center to get her LPN and then continue to MACC to complete her RN degree.

The choir seniors that were recognized were Brooke Meeker and Jessica Patterson.

Brooke Meeker is the daughter of Brian and the late Ann Meeker. Her future plans are to attend Northwest and serve in the U.S. military.

Jessica Patterson is the daughter of Robert and Cheryl Patterson. Her future plans are to go to work and move to New Zealand.

Trapshooting seniors being recognized were Cole Conn, Daniel Hamlin, Nick Hamlin, Landon Hubble, Easton Schieferdecker, and Zyan Triplett. 

Cole Conn is the son of Stephanie Conn, David Poston and the late Roy Conn. His future plans are to enter the workforce. 

Daniel Hamlin is the son of Tony and Tracy Hamlin. His future plans are to enter the workforce. 

Nick Hamlin is the son of Tim and LeAnn Hamlin. His future plans are to become a lineman.

Landon Hubble is the son of Rick and Amy Hubble. His future plans are to attend Indian Hills and study Natural Resources.

Easton Schieferdecker is the son of Mary Beth Howerton and Eric Schieferdecker. His future plans are to enter the workforce. 

Zyan Triplett is the son of Daryn Triplett, and Jennifer and Josh Brummitt. His future plans are to pursue further education. 

On September 14th, 2020 Knox County softball seniors were recognized after the softball game against the Marion County Mustangs. The seniors that were recognized were Bryston Bowen, Kaitlin Campbell, Kinsley Johnson, and Riley Strange. 

Bryston Bowen is the son of Josh and Amber Bowen. His future plans are to attend MACC for an Associate degree in Health Science.

Kaitlin Campbell is the daughter of Chris and Jamie Campbell. Her future plans are to attend college to major in Agribusiness.

Kinsley Johnson is the daughter of Glenn and Ashley Johnson. Her future plans are to go to college to become a radiation therapist or sonography technician.

Riley Strange is the daughter of Alan and Staci Rimer, and Jeff Strange. Her future plans are to attend college to play basketball and to become a Physical Therapist Assistant.
