Nicolas Lee Hamlin is a senior at Knox County High School. He is the son of LeAnn and Tim Hamlin. Hamlin has been involved in many extracurricular activities over the years. He participates in baseball, FFA, Trapshooting, Spanish Club, and track.
His favorite school memory is being the top shooter at the annual Area III FFA Trapshoot. Hamlin’s favorite teacher in high school was former history teacher, Mr. Kerr. He said, “I enjoyed watching Mr. Kerr call out the people who weren’t paying attention to the lecture.”
Hamlin is most proud of his family and his truck and describes himself as helpful, caring, and considerate. Hamlin says that his mom and dad are the most influential people in his life because they have always supported him in everything he does.
In 10 years, Hamlin sees himself working as a utility technician or a lineman with a house, wife, and kids. His future plans include attending a trade school and then joining the workforce.
