Senior spotlights highlight the Class of 2021 seniors. Kylee Nicole Woods is the daughter of Leslie and Linda Woods. She has participated in FFA, FBLA, FCA, NHS, Drama Club, Spanish Club, yearbook, and basketball.
Woods shared that she has had many influential teachers over the years, however, math teacher Ms. McNabb has been her favorite. She said, “Ms. McNabb because she’s always pushed me to do better. Even when I’m complaining about problems that I’m having or not liking to do something she continues to push me because she knows that I am capable of achieving it.”
Her favorite school memories were attending the FFA Back-to-School BBQs at Hagerla's pond over the years. Three words Woods would use to describe herself are caring, honest, and determined, and she is most proud of the goals she has set for herself and what she has achieved through setting said goals.
The most influential people in her life have been her parents. “They have always been there for me with anything I have needed and always pushed me to do my best,” she said. “They have always been my biggest supporters.”
Woods’ future plans are to attend Northwest Missouri State University and major in Farm Operations. In 10 years, she says she sees herself hopefully with a family, living on the farm, and working with her dad.
