Patrick Ryan Ogden is a senior at Knox County High School. He is the son of Elizabeth and the late Jason Ogden. Patrick is involved in football, baseball, FBLA, and Spanish Club.
Patrick mentions that his favorite school memory is when he got his driver’s license during her sophomore year. “Mr. Kerr told me that I needed five phone books so I could see over the steering wheel,” he shared. Patrick says he is most proud of all of the projects he has been involved in at Knox County Schools throughout his high school career. Some of those projects included the Bus Cafe, the custom motorcycle and sidecar, and the new gator they are currently working on. Patrick’s favorite teacher is industrial technology teacher, Mr. Green, "because he teaches you life skills that you will actually use." Patrick also spends his afternoon as a FLEX student working with Mr. Green in the shop.
The most influential person in Patrick’s life has been his Grandpa Glenn because he was able to step in as a father figure when his father passed away in 2008. Three things on Patrick’s bucket list are to go skydiving, elk hunting, and travel to Ireland. He describes himself as relentless, hard-working, and laid back.
In 10 years, Patrick sees himself working at the family business, Klocke Trucking, working maintenance on the semi-trucks. Patrick has been accepted into the Indian Hills Community College Diesel Mechanics program which he will start in the fall of 2022.
