Due to the excessive heat, Varsity Football practice will be pushed back to 7:00 pm tonight 8-24-20. Junior High will practice at 3:30 in the elementary gym.

K-12 Accidental Insurance is available for all students.

ATTENTION PARENTS: CHANGE IN DROP OFF/PICK UP PROCEDURES FOR ALL BUILDINGS:
Early morning drop-off for all students (K-12) will be at the elementary school doors no earlier than 7:15. A staff member will meet students and supervise them in the elementary gym until 7:45. At 7:45, students will be released to their respective schools.
Students arriving after 7:45 by bus or car can arrive through either the elementary or high school entrance in accordance with past practices.
Middle school pick-up (grades 6-8) will occur at the north middle school doors at 3:10. When school is dismissed for the day, middle school students with siblings in the elementary school may go to the elementary school for pick-up in lieu of leaving from the middle school.
Elementary pick-up (grades K-5) will occur at the front doors of the elementary school after the buses depart. Curbside pick-up is not available until buses have departed as they will be using the bus lanes. Pick-ups prior to 2:50 must be done by calling the school secretary. Pick-ups during the period between 2:50 and bus departure are not allowed due to bus traffic in the school lots.
High school students can be picked up in the east parking lot of the high school after school.

Parents, if you are planning to drop off your students at school in the morning, you may do so as early as 7:15 a.m. please drop them off at the elementary doors. If you plan to pick them up after school, you may do so after 3:20 p.m. at the elementary doors.

Football Senior Night will be on August 28th and Softball Senior Night will be on September 8th. Please mark your calendars!

I am glad to announce that MSHSAA has issued re-opening guidance for fall sports and activities that allows our first fall sports practices to commence on August 10th as scheduled. In consideration of the continuing risk from COVID-19, there will be additional guidance from our local health department, administration, and School Nurse to mitigate the risks faced by our athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators. Until that guidance is issued, please continue to follow current guidelines and recommendations. I appreciate your efforts over these past few months in giving our students the opportunity to return to play. Keith Gudehus, Athletic/Activities Director
