Knox County R-I School District would like to announce our new Innovative Learning Specialist, Mrs. Sarah Setzer. Mrs. Setzer joins us from the elementary to fill the role left by Mrs. Becky Barnhill, after she accepted the position of 6-12 Assistant Principal. Welcome, Mrs. Setzer!


On Sunday, May 19th, Knox County R-I High School held the 60th Annual Senior Graduation. 28 current seniors and six early graduates were honored in the ceremony. Speaker, local legend Laden Force, spoke of Knox County greats, Carol Gross and Esty Eyler in his wonderful commencement speech and earned lots of smiles. Congratulations, Seniors!

Due to the weather, the Varsity baseball game today 5/2 has been cancelled.


Mrs. Ellison's World History classes wrapped up their projects on Imperialism in Southeast Asia this week. They did a great job presenting on either a location or person during the 1800's. Each group had to do an activity with the class as part of their presentation. We had lotus drinks, coloring sheets, bingo, mock battles, various arts and crafts, etc.


Today's Varsity home track meet 5/2 is cancelled. Baseball TBA.
