Preschool/Kindergarten Screening Reminder


Saturday 2/17 the middle school scholar bowl teams attended the Truman Winter Invitational.
6th grade ended the day with a record of 4 wins and 4 losses.
7th grade finished the day in 3rd place with a record of 6 wins and 3 losses
8th grade finished the day with a record of 4 wins and 5 losses.
Thatcher Townsend claimed captain of the all-tournament team with 71.43 points per game. Ezra Scoggin got second on the all-tournament team with 58.57 points per game. Jason Devlin tied for 8th place on the all-tournament team with 28.57 points per game.
Mrs. Mandi Delaney is the coach of all teams.

Due to the weather, Knox County Schools will be closed today, Friday, February 16.

Parents and staff, please do not pass the buses in the drop off lane in the mornings in front of the school. When you do so, it creates a dangerous situation with traffic going out. Please be patient and wait or come early.

Varsity Scholar Bowl gets two more conference wins at Paris Wednesday evening!
300-270 v Paris
270-200 v Westran.
JV had a tough night with two losses.
80-140 vs. Westran
120-230 vs. Paris.
MS got two wins:
300-210 v Westran
260-180 v Paris.

Congratulations to our Varsity Softball Academic All-State honorees from the Fall 2023 season. We are so proud of all your academic and athletic achievements! Abigail Becker, Agnes Reel, Savanna Schrage, Kennedy Parrish, Lillie Penn, Ava Miller, Melayna Miller, Kodie Lay, Brynn Schwieter, Emma Browning. Softball is coached by Lauren Dale.


Busy week in basketball! Senior Night is Tuesday 2/13 in between games.


Saturday, the Middle School Scholar Bowl Teams traveled to North Shelby. Knox B brought home 2nd place with a record of 5 wins and 2 losses. (Shown in picture.) Knox A and Knox C tied for 7th place, both with a record of 2 wins and 4 losses.
Ezra Soggin tied for 2nd on the All-Tournament Team and Patrick Clark tied for 4th on the All-Tournament Team. The teams are coached by Mandi Delaney.


A sweep at Fayette Thursday night for Scholar Bowl! Scholar Bowl gets conference wins v. Fayette & Harrisburg, with all teams going undefeated.
V: 270-130 v. Harrisburg, 280-270 v. Fayette (Coach Amy McNabb)
JV: 90-60 v. Fayette, 150-50 v. Fayette (Coach Libby Hunziker)
MS: 330-260 v. Harrisburg, 420-10 v. Fayette (Coach Mandi Delaney)


Buses will start running 5 minutes later in the morning starting tomorrow and through the rest of the year to help with congestion at drop off.

Saturday, we hosted the Tournament of the Minds where our Knox County Middle School Scholar Bowl teams kicked off their season.
Ezra Scoggin and Thatcher Townsend made the all-tournament team while Patrick Clark claimed captain of the all-tournament team.
Final results for the day:
Knox County A got 10th (4-5)
Knox County B got 7th (4-5)
Knox County C got 15th (1-8)
Knox County D got 6th (7-2)
