
The Knox County R-I School District extends our deepest condolences to the families of Phil Gragg and Bob Kincaid. These two men gave decades of service to our county and our kids. Phil served as our bus mechanic for 22 years. Bob was our custodian for 44 years. Fly high gentlemen!



Tonight's (1/10) home Varsity Basketball games are cancelled. Elementary Elvis Eagle recognition will be held on Tuesday, January 14 at halftime of the girl's game.



Due to road conditions, Knox County R-I schools will be closed today, Friday, January 10.

The Knox County R-1 School district will be in session tomorrow Wednesday, January 8.

Two of our buses are running about 15 minutes late this morning. Students riding Dean's bus or Alan's bus they will be about 15 minutes later than normal.

Lady Eagles take home third place at the Tri-River Tournament with at 40-37 win over Scotland County.

End of the third Lady Eagles lead 37-26.

Lady Eagles lead 27-14 at the half.

After one the Lady Eagles lead Scotland Co. 13-8.

Congratulations to Nathan Penn, Kaylee Easley, Lillie Penn, and Emma Browning for being chosen as the winners of the nonprofit speech in LA 2. Students selected a nonprofit and delivered a speech to their classmates about the organization. Throughout their speeches, they utilized rhetorical strategies learned in class to persuade their peers to support their chosen nonprofit organization.
